It was one of our sound designer dreams to create a feature film.. Without picture. So when Storytel asked us to team up with Dutch writer Thomas Olde Heuvelt and translate his custom story into an audio-only experience we couldn’t only not say no, but were also long prepared to take on this challenge. The result is MUZE: a feature length, Dolby Atmos mixed, off the wall horror/ fantasy story released in cinemas.

We were tasked with nearly the entire production process, from concepting, voice recording, music composition, foley, sound design, directing, editing to mixing. And the most important mission: to create the sensation of hearing with a supernatural hearing.
Muze tells the incredible story of a boy born with the unique and terrible gift of using sound to change the world… and perhaps even end it.
