An award winning 3D design animation by Freek Freriks for Adidas x Karlie Kloss collection.
Freeks concept is an homage to the brilliant scientist and mathematician Katherine Johnson, whose calculations of orbital mechanics for NASA were critical to the success of US space exploration. The jacket is shown as a peaceful, gravity-defying celestial body. There’s so much craft to appreciate, from the mathematical objects that float past like asteroids to the jacket itself, which we witness as if from a viewing deck, taking in everything from the weave of the fabric to its styling details.
